The 16' x 16' Entry: A Timber Frame Mudroom & Airlock Addition

Our 16' x 16' Entry Addition offers the perfect blend of thermal protection and organizational space. Originally conceived as a small airlock for a Maine preschool, the final design provides a 256-square-foot mudroom that handles the transition from 'outside to inside' with ease. This weather-tight, timber-framed structure ensures the main building remains insulated from the cold while providing a light-filled, inviting area for daily use.

This design could easily be adapted to a residence or for other commercial purposes.
